Why did you join USG?

I joined USG because I want to be part of what makes Fordham a welcoming community for other students. I hoped to create lasting change within the University and United Student Government is the perfect platform to do so.

What are you hoping to accomplish this year?

This year, I’d like to continue the work that the Diversity Action Coalition has put forward in the last year. Together, we hope to collaborate with other student groups to support programming that celebrates diversity across the University. Additionally, we would like to continue the efforts of the Bias Training subcommittee, as well as publishing the BRASS Manual for students, and continuing the work started by the First Generation committee. Lastly, we hope to take up new initiatives to support commuter students and the new student experience.

Where are you originally from?

Queens, NY

If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?

I would love to have the ability to fly! Airfare is expensive and I love to travel so it would be the perfect solution!

My favorite place on Fordham’s Rose Hill campus is…

Belmont Community Housing!

What is your favorite quote?

“A surplus of effort could overcome a deficit of confidence.” – Sonia Sotomayor
