Why did you join USG?
I’ve always made individual choices to make my life more sustainable, but unfortunately, as much as I do, it’s not enough. It’s up to large institutions and companies to initiate change for the better, and as a USG member who has the opportunity to work with administration, I want to give Fordham that push towards a more sustainable campus. I also want to get to know and surround myself with this amazing group of people who listen to and put others’ needs before their own. I need that positivity and pure benevolence in my life so that I’m motivated to pass it on to others.
What are you hoping to accomplish this year?
Spread awareness about climate change and environmental injustices around the world. Teach my peers how to combat them and motivate them to actually implement sustainable practices in their everyday lives!
Where are you originally from?
Cresskill, NJ
If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
Magical powers because I love escapism. Also, my favorite show when I was younger was Winx, and I wanted to be a fairy with magical powers that pertained to a specific theme, like Stella and her solar powers.
.My favorite place on Fordham’s Rose Hill campus is…
Martyrs’ Laundry Room (only the real ones know)
What is your favorite quote?
“You’re entirely bonkers. But I’ll tell you a secret. All the best people are.” -Alice Kingsley, Alice in Wonderland
