Why did you join USG?

I joined USG because I saw Student Government as a way to be involved in my education and community. I saw my campaign for Senate as a way to meet my classmates, and that has continued even after my election.

What are you hoping to accomplish this year?

This year, I am to make campus more sustainable by decreasing the use of plastic water bottles, conserving water and energy in the dorms, and decreasing food waste across campus. I hope to find sustainable alternatives to the packaging of food items on campus, and I plan on doing so not only in my capacity as Senator, but also through my participation in the USG Sustainability Committee. In a greater effort to bridge the gap between Fordham and the Bronx, I want to bring the Girl Scouts onto campus to sell cookies this winter. I has involved in Girl Scouts for 13 years, and I plan on making this happen this school year.
