Why did you join USG?

I’m passionate about being an active representative within the Fordham community, and genuinely love getting to meet and work with new people across campus. By listening to our class’ concerns, I want to be able to fundamentally push for more progressive change when it comes to student life, being part of USG. Also, as a woman of color, it is very important for me to incorporate more diversity into USG.

What are you hoping to accomplish this year?

Working alongside USG’s Diversity Action Coalition to incorporating more tangible initiatives when it comes to spurring racial and gender diversity on campus. Also, I plan on proposing additional initiatives when it comes to promoting mental health awareness for students & potentially proposing legislative reform for Fordham’s current guest policy on campus.
