Vice President of Communications
Fordham College at Rose Hill, Class of 2022
Major: Political Science and Theology – Minor: Economics
Committees: Communications & Marketing Committee, Operations Committee
Clubs: USG, College Democrats, Pre-Law Society
Why did you join USG?
I initially joined USG as a freshman senator in order to advocate for people who had trouble acclimating to the school, who came from far-away, and who wanted, as I did, to promote the tremendous culture that Fordham is known for. This year, as the Vice President of Communications, I’m going to be working on making USG more transparent, more accountable, and more expedient. I’ll be working diligently to listen to every person’s concerns and mend USG accordingly. Once students learn what USG is, who their representatives are, and what USG is actively working on in pursuit of better serving the student body, I will have done my job.
What are you working on this year?
This year, in order to make USG more transparent, more accountable, and more expedient, I will be introducing a number of new policies. I will continually update the USG-specific billboard in McGinley so that it serves as a central and complete source of information if students want to learn more about USG. I will be revamping relationships with club leaders by hosting office hours and offering advertisement assistance. Additionally, I’m going to be introducing bi-monthly town hall events so that USG can always be held accountable by our constituents. Finally, I’m hoping to publish a USG-specific newsletter to advertise what goes on at our meetings and advertising upcoming initiatives and events.
If you really knew me, you’d know that…
I would rather watch a court case at the nearest Federal District Courthouse than an ordinary professional sports game.
