Fordham University's United Student Government is currently running their elections for the 2020-2021 representatives. All positions are open including all Executive Positions, Cabinet Positions as well as 5 Senators per class. For more information on elections, please visit usgrh.info/elections.

To qualify to run, the first step is to attend an Information Session. The remaining information sessions are the following:
Monday, February 24th @ 1:00 in McGinley 235
Thursday, February 27th @ 1:00 in McGinley 236

Show Appreciation for the Fordham Community with the Beacon Exemplar Award!
The Beacon Exemplar Award honors the efforts of faculty, staff, and administrators within the Fordham community who have made a meaningful impact on student lives. Nominations must be submitted by March 13 to be considered. All nominees will be invited to attend an award ceremony on April 14 in Bepler Commons.

Fresh Check Day
Fresh Check Day is a mental health awareness fair taking place on Eddie’s on Friday, March 27th. Our goal is to foster open conversation about mental health at Fordham and offer students the resources to help their peers and themselves. Over 20 different student groups, organizations, and departments are running information booths and activities regarding various aspects of mental health, including suicide prevention, self care, eating disorder awareness, the veteran experience, and more. There will be food and prizes, as well as live music throughout the day!

Renewable Energy Petition
The Sustainability Committee, as members of the United Student Government of Fordham University Rose Hill, are asking the Fordham community to join us in calling on our University to convert to 100% Renewable Energy in our campaign with Environment America. Petition Link

Made-to-Order Burgers, Lettuce Wraps, and More Changes Coming to Fordham Dining!
The dining committee has taken student requests to make some much-needed changes and upgrades to the Marketplace and other on-campus locations. Moving forward, the Marketplace Deli will offer lettuce wraps as a healthier, gluten-free alternative to bread, serving utensils will be changed hourly to minimize germ exposure, and you can now ask for made-to-order items such as burgers in the Marketplace.

Gabelli Major Fair
The Gabelli Major Fair is an initiative from Senator Bentovim aiming to help underclassmen find their passion before they declare. The fair showcases different majors and concentrations offered at the Gabelli School of Business. It will take place on Thursday, March 12 from 1:00-2:15, location TBD.
