Why did you join USG?

I joined USG because ever since high school I’ve had a passion for making positive change in my school environment. Throughout high school, I was elected into student government and had an amazing time coming up with creative and innovative ways to better our school community and our local community. I wanted to further pursue this passion in college.

What are you hoping to accomplish this year?

IMy main goal this year is to initiate a proposal to host an on-campus Out of the Darkness Walk for suicide prevention. Through this walk, we will be showing our support for those struggling while also creating an open conversation about mental health.
