Why did you join USG?

I joined USG, not only because I wanted to leave my mark on Fordham, but also because I wanted to give back to both this university and its community.

What are you hoping to accomplish this year?

When I was campaigning, I ran on passing an initiative to add composting bins to the many dining halls around campus, because the issue of food waste is very important to me. Last April, little did I know, the Sustainability Committee passed this proposal to the Dean for review. After I learned this, I resolved to help the Sustainability Committee institute this proposal in any way I can.

What is your hometown?

New York, New York

What has been your favorite class at Fordham so far?

One of my favorite class that I took at Rose Hill is Forensic Science, which demystified a process that once seemed almost mystical to me. One of my favorite classes that I took at Lincoln Center was “The Blood is the Life,” a Texts & Contexts Course about vampires, which was more discussion oriented and got us to analyze many vampire stories through different lenses.

What is your favorite thing about Fordham?

Very sorry for the cliché, but my favorite parts of Fordham were the people I met along the way. And also the things I have learned in my classes – yeah, that too, but mainly the people.
