Why did you join USG?
I’ve always been passionate about being inclusive of others. Growing up I knew what it was like to feel like an outsider and refuse to let people feel that way at Fordham. I aim to spearhead more inclusionary events and programs that cater to niche groups of individual who may be falling between the cracks in terms of gaining the necessary resources they need to succeed.
What are you hoping to accomplish this year?
Back when I was a freshman, I adored events held during Orientation, arguably this was the time I made the most diverse friends outside my major, outside FCRH, and outside my usual interests. This year I hope to start up more cultural engagement programs that’ll be reminiscent of that feeling and allow our student to feel more intertwined than ever.
