The following is a statement on the Roger Stone event from the United Student Government Executive Board.
“The United Student Government (USG) is currently looking into steps to investigate the most recent event with Fordham College Republicans and Roger Stone. USG does not take action without the approval of its entire body. The USG will meet Thursday at 5:30pm in McGinley 237, all are welcome to attend.
Based on precedent, USG does not release information behind club sanctions. This includes the specifics of the sanction as well as the reasoning for the sanction. In the case of Fordham College Republicans and Roger Stone, we are unable to comment on the role USG played. This is to protect the privacy of those involved, and has been a longstanding USG model.”
